It's been a little while, but I'm popping in to share some of the art I made last semester for one of my projects. This is the final "panel" for a short story about two lovers, a meteor shower, and a really really long walk to find each other again. It's based on the folktale The Princess and the Cowherd : >
I wish I had pictures of the book! The whole booklet kind of opens out to the middle of this one giant picture. Then you follow them to either end of the strip, and join it together so they can meet again.

I adore the style in this and how 'glowy' the stars are. All of the designs and textures are beautiful and the flowing images are inspiring.
I am curious, what media and materials did you use? I seem to only identify a few and I'd love to know ho you accomplished the subtle look.
