i miss being little and covered in nature! (nature = bugs, plantlife, mud, mostly mud, some small creatures, mayhaps a spider, and more mud). this whooole region is based off of the woods i used to play in all the time, woods im pretty sure are getting ripped up and turned into housing by now ; ;. stupid construction.. well, it lives forever in my story. welcome to the everraines!

Asura, again, and her best friend the yellow parrot! all her friends are parrots, sadly. but things get better for her as the story continues, rest assured. (then again, parrots can be a lot of fun...)

tools!
0.7 mechanical pencil - doesn't listen!! >:E
adobe photoshop 7.0 - base colors and effects
open canvas 4+ - inking and detailing
characters - mine! asura is from cross canticle, my story.

Evil can never win in the end... Thus if what we think to be evil does win in the end they can\\\'t be that bad now can they?
i used to love nature..; ; ...i had a special spot in the woods too but i moved to an area tha tis surrounded by houses and city...*Sigh*...and i have a phobia of spiders so i dont like to go into the grass anymore...
Nice work, i love how you did the parot! :D
Aw, pretty birdie. X3 Your coloring is always so soft, glowy, atmospheric... lovely.
Woah! The water and stones look so good! TT_TT
I really think you should make a tutorial on that soft coloring. I love it.
That is such a breathtaking picture. And I love the expression on her face!
Wow, that's awesome (again!)

Why in the world don't you have a print account? You seem like you should.

I find the envirourment very fairytale like almost too beautifil, maybe some rawness would be a nice thing to experiment with, like with the things you have mentioned in your description. Because nature isn't always that percfect.
