I tried to make the background resemble the lakefront on a gray day, though their lacks a bridge spanning out into the distance.. It'll just have to do without. Plenty of other opportunities will present themselves to draw bridges!
Aand after much internal debate, Fontina is a black cat. There's another character in this story who's a white cat, so that became the deciding factor. Also I figured it'd seem the most appropriate; she's a self assured diva, definitely not the sort for a showy calico, or a bouncy tiger-tabby. And gray would be too soft. (i should say grayer, shouldn't i?)
