well, heres my first full scale go-round with coloring in open canvas. i like the results, although i think i couldve done better.. more experiments then. hehe. X3 this makes me feel a lot better than the first attempt at this particular picture. the first attempt... sucked so bad.. i completely redrew it after finishing it >.o; pain. im especially happy with the change in the wolf girl from attempt 1, she doesnt look quite so much like a cat girl X3

fav aspect- color blending. just like colored pencils!
least fav. aspect- thinking up color scheme on the dragon girl. couldnt think of it ^^;

done completely in open canvas over a period of about 2 days. im sooo slow ><;

Something about this... I dunno if it's the coloring or what. I just think it's a little different then most the stuff out their. I only favorite stuff that I think is a little bit different (And obvously skillful)

your faces seem out of proportion everytime you draw. and especially the guy's nose, its as if you put a blob of black on him(and black as a shadow tone is a big nono considering a white bg). the whole sense of the image looks unnatural aswell, not the fact that your anatomy could do a little work, but the colouring job,eg: those lanterns i would assume their emmiting light, but there isnt a different highlight near that region other than white, and pressumingly it makes the characters' faces feel pale and emotionless. you can create contrast without the white you know...
