Yay the internet's back! Finally!

Er, that said, here's some art now. This is a flyer illustration for Anime USA this year, featuring Kaede with some all-new friends in an Arabian Nights sort of theme. Which means coins, deserts, floaty fabric, great colors, and listening to a whole lot of Bond. I think I listened to "shine" about fifty million times. I think that's the name of that song. Or maybe it's just the name of the album.. but it's what the song's labeled as anyway. Im gonna go with it. : D

Theres a horse and some... birds... I guess! The horse was planned for, since we thought it would be very dashing and beautiful. The birds happened because I got carried away, and when I get carried away, I draw birds on everything. EVERYTHING. But I like them well enough, they can stay and be birdlike. Fly minions fly! Unlike the previous year's mascot sidekicks, these critters don't have names yet : / ...
