Unnofficial game review teim!

I love Yume Nikki. Iiiits probably my favorite thing right now. And I made a lot of really retarded doodles about it, and I'm going to clean them up and post them later. HEE. Yume Nikki is a scary little free-downloadable game about a little girl who wanders around in her subconscious, collecting abilities for some purpouse that I have not discovered yet. The graphics aren't fabulous, but seriously, this is a great game. Go and find it if you like scary stuff. Like crazy freaking bird ladies who warp you to places you can't escape from, or little girls who sprout extra limbs and flail around if you show them a stoplight.

PROS:
it's free!
It's basically hours of entertainment, especially if you have a vivid imagination.
you can turn into a snowman.
Uboaaa!

Cons:
-It's not what you'd call cutting edge gaming; the NPCs don't do much for interaction aside from the fact that all of them you can kill.
-Not for people who don't like games about wandering around aimlessly.
-many of the abilities don't really do anything other than make you go 'yay i got an ability!'. perhaps in future versions will be fixed?

Personally though, I love it! It gets a star. And I get a coffee.

Heehee! I'm really excited and squishy inside, I got to do some volunteer work at my sister's school on Friday. At least that's what I thought was gonna happen, but at the last minute they called and asked if we could do a presentation instead. So we spent the day showing a bunch of classes how to pull out inspiration for illustrations, and in general had a great time with it. The favorite part in my opinion was definitely when we all did thumbnails, which we broke down into a big gigantic doodling process. And! I got a turkey croissantwhich.

Also! Coming relatively soon, thanks to Messa *LOVES AT* and Stickerbooth, I'm gonna be able to make stickers out of the matsuri characters! so yaaaaaay! *kermitflail* I'm happy about it, because i felt so bad when people would come back with the pins because they popped apart ; ;. they were easy to fix, but I like this idea so much better ; ;...

AAaaaaand! The next target is A-KON! so i'm working to bust out the rest of my commissions so I can get back to fixing up stuff for my art table there, jeeze its so soon = =;. All of the pin designs from Detour are going to be back, plus some new designs for a few new series, such as fruits basket, ouran, and maybe even gundam wing if there's enough time!

Hooooly crap that went by REALLY fast!! AAAAND it was about the most fun ever and i'm like FOAMING on the insides. Which is actually pretty gross. I didn't take pictures because my camera was being a TARDFACE, but for the most part I hung out at the table with Messa, Laura, and jen, and I met a whole bunch of awesome people who made my insides all squee and heart shaped ; ;

Well the subject says it ^ ^;. Hey everybody! I'm not dead, just.. haven't had much time to finish my arts for postin' lately, and thus, the cycle continues of postlessness. I have been arting all the time anyway, work keeps me pretty dang busy, but it rocks, and sooner or later I will update again. Hopefully.. sooner though.

I'm taking the spring off from MCAD though, big news there! Because of work, actually, because I couldn't get much of it done over the semester, and because I want to be able to take both seriously and at the moment.. i'm grabbing at the smooth face of a steep cliff named "you're falling and going to die omg haha". Sooo yeah! Here's to getting that critical leg up on the pile!

AAAAND ! here's a convention schedule for 2008; I'll definitely be at A-kon, whether or not we ever get the table information ^ ^;;. I'll have cosplay information up here later on down the line when I get that underway, alas, it is not yet time for that, but! I'm already planning some super new drawling ideas and maybe just a little fanart XD;;. I'm getting a new printer though, so i'm super excited about that!

I'll also certainly be at Mechacon this august, and if you're anywhere near Lafeyette Louisiana early August, you better come. Hells bells, come anyway! *Super thumbs up time go!*

AAUGH. well this is my big effort to rescue my poor gallery from the abyss = =;;;. Back to the grindstone for now, peace out!

Hi everybody! Well, school kicked off as of about.. three weeks ago? I think? And holy crap, it's just been fast, fast, fast, with a heavy super-sized side-order of busy. Soooo yeah.. there probably won't be a lot of colorfied deviations coming out of me for a long, lon while ; ;. *scratches longingly at surface of tablet*. I'm actually working on a speedier style for these busy times, I think it would be a handy thing to do anyhoo.. and of course, there are always sketches. <3

Aside from being like holycrap busy with school and work and stuff, things are actually looking pretty keen! I got to doodle with some fellow deviants a while back, and that was cool. There were cookies. <3. Speaking of, i'm really freaking hungry! I'ma have to wrap this up for now ; ;.
