Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Back from A-kon and stuff!

Well there goes A-kon 20-something! Thanks so much everybody who braved the heat of the alley to come by, and oh my GOD was it hot. I could only dress up one day it was so bad!

Also, I'm sorry to pretty much everybody who told me I was hard to find. I'm going to change my studio name back to Shirotsuki. Studio Birdseed really does sound like some kind of.. stationary thing.. like.. cute little paper with birds on it and shells and whatever. I guess I thought it sounded more professional than my weird fan-digimon name or whatever, but I have come to realize that it's sounds like it should smell like grandma soap.

I still managed to meet a bunch of you and catch up with just about everybody though, so I'm not about to say that anything turned out super bad : D. We also got to be by our friends Shelly and Kat at the jewellery stand, and Dusty with Scuttlebutt ink. It was amazing getting to hang out all weekend you guys!

So thanks for stopping by all! I had such a blast! Thanks especially to Inuyatta for bringing my sister and I a whole amazing meal on Saturday, you probably saved our lives and I'm not being weird and dramatic when I say that. It was delicious! And thanks to my friend for bringing by the muffins, although you ninja'd off before I could say thanks at the show! Sorry it got so busy, I have a hard time dividing my attention, especially at shows where I don't have help.. it gets pretty rough. Also, thanks to Sunny for the amazing stuffed aminal! He is so cute I can hardly deal. My little sister keeps stealing it from me, catlike, although without the whole problem of it showing up dismembered outside my door the next day. Thank god!

Lastly, ONE OF YOU GOT ME SICK. Who was it?! Seriously, I'm pretty sure you have ebola. I haven't been sick-sick in like a decade, my immune system is a volatile thing possibly made of acid, barbed wire, and hate for anything not my own blood and body parts. So, whoever you are, get to a doctor.

Next show will be Animinneapolis, much too soon for comfort in fact! See you there! Meanwhile, time to catch up on messages that got buried under A-kon prep and recovery uuuuuuuu....
