It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Art!

Somewhere. Well, it's schooltime again and, again, I find myself pretty much at a loss for new art that isn't school related or unpostable. So boo on the universe!

I guess I got sketches I can post for now though. Hopefully as things progress I'll be able to start putting up my finished assignments as well. hehe ^ ^. Soooo... yeah! That's about it. It's kind of weird to be updating and not really having much to say or ramble about.

holie crap i thought school was sucking up all my time and no one elses! cuz DA is always getting posts like every second and i was like "aaaahh im not doing anything and all my art sucks!!!" so i really love yur tuff too so i agreee put up anything you want yu always have good ideas pop into yur hed. good thing is yu can actually put it on PAPER! >:l
