The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal

IM PRETTY DANG EXCITED!

This weekend of course! Anime USA, and it's probably going to be like fun all over the place with cookies and stuff. <3. Ive actually been pretty busy the past two weekends, as a matter of fact, with Fall con today and SGMS (school girls and mobile suits) for two hours last weekend. Which doesnt sound like a lot, but we moved and shook with print and button sales, and then went back to doing what we normally do on a day to day basis: HOMEWORK!

Homework. The root of my gallery's standstill, along with work-work, which is bolting along still slower than i'd like, but along nonetheless. So I havent had much time to draw anything at all other than that ;=;

Alas. So yeah, I am officially declaring stop-and-go gallery HIATUS, so named because i intend to put up any legible sketches I can produce during these next few months. And to the people i've been in correspondence with over notes, thank you so much for your patience over these last couple of weeks and for not punching me in the face with fists of fury.

In general, thanks so much for your support everyone, and sorry for the lack of updates. I hope to see some of you at Anime USA this weekend! It is now time to draw a planar analysis of my feet, (not kidding!), and perhaps to make some sweet, sweet lemon tea to sooth the cold in my bird-bones, which are hollow and full of cold.

Hey, I've been a fan of your style for a long time (since your adopt a kitty days. You actually drew me a couple *dances*). I don't always have time to keep up with journal entries, but I totally flipped when I saw the Avalon books. I knew they were yours right away. They're beautiful and it makes me want to read them.
