Head!

I went to the dentist today! And i got three shots. THREE SHOTS. in my mouth. HOO BOY. because the first two didn't make anything numb, for some reason. So now my jaw's all knotted up tight.

Anyway that's not why I'm here today, A-kon happened a week ago and i've been running around with my sisterbeast, , like a mad monkey trying to get prepared for mecha con. So this means new pin designs, including original designs plus- A GAME! a game that you can play with our square buttons. There'll be more on that as we playtest it, but so far it's kind of like terra master from final fantasy 9 only without the numbers, and a lot simpler. And you can wear the "cards". Because theyre pins. And squares!

This also means new art for prints and such, but so far only the little stuff has been getting done because I'm working this summer on the Avalon series still. Around midterms it looked like all I'd be doing was the covers, but we've worked out a compromise that should allow everything to happen together. This is both AWESOME because I can still draw Avalon stuff, and a little bit crazy.. because I really want to work on everything else too. Like Crow.

So that's kind of where all my time is going. I can't post anything from Avalon here, which is pretty much why I haven't had a good string of art on Deviantart for like.. 3 years now. But you can see the work in the books in Barnes and Noble, which is pretty cool : D.

Back to A-kon though, I have to say that, hands down, this was the most relaxed A-kon I have ever had. It was a little weird being on the top floor, I think it took a while for people to find us.. but still, we took a bunch of commissions (THAT I'M STILL WORKING ON ;-; IM SO SORRY GUYS, THEY'RE ON THE WAY.), met up with a lot of awesome people from A-kon's past and a few new faces - I finally got to meet , finally, after the past few shows walking past his art and being all IS HE HERE?! *dork*. But then I really am a dork, cuz I didn't get the chance to go say hi = =;.

And I got some totally sweet arts from people!! Thanks , and to the other lady.. i am so sorry and i'm embarrased to say it, but i can't read your signature = =;;.. but thanks so much for the art trade if you get a chance to read this!!

Also, thanks to For helpin me survive friday by running the button press ;=;. AH LOVES YOU. You're always welcome to hover by the way, and for heavens sake quit apologizing for being 'a bother' or i'll hug you to death. ;=; I made pretty art for you. I just have to scan it > <;;;

The low point was.. not sitting by LORI ;-;. . It was so wrong!! There was nobody to wage war with, no moustache battles.. only a few sneak attacks involving the molestation of one another's prints. I'll spare the details here, but it was pretty amazing.

So yeah, we're hitting the ground running to be ready for Mecha this july. So come by and see us, and thanks to everyone who came by!!!
